It is based on the 1985 telenovela Tú o nadie, created by María Zarattini. Adapted by José Alberto Castro and Vanesa Varela, and directed by Rodrigo Cachero and Carlos Cock Marín, the telenovela stars Bárbara de Regil, Matías Novoa, Diego Amozurrutia, Eva Cedeño, Rebecca Jones, Rafael Inclán, María Chacón, and Sofía Castro. The story follows Sofía Chávez, a young woman who travels to Cabo San Lucas after marrying Alejandro Noriega by proxy. Upon arriving, she discovers that Alejandro has apparently died in a plane crash, only to later find herself caught between him and his identical twin brother, Eduardo. As deception, ambition, and family conspiracies unfold, Sofía must uncover the truth while fighting for love and justice.
